We've had to create numerous pivots to overcome, improvise, and adapt to the changing environment. Now we enter this “new-new normal\" world, and as entrepreneurs, we will continue to change, adapt, and evolve. But we don’t have to do this alone, everyone deserves a place to start, to emerge, to grow, and find success. The Art of Connection is the ability to connect in all forms of media from in-person to digital media. As business is done at lightning speed at every level, our connection to each other continues to become more instantaneous and “real life” and we as business owners, continue to create the conversation that builds the communities where commerce follows.

What you may not know is that the inspiration for this book did not come from me, a business coach, or even a seasoned professional, it came from a conversation with a child. This child happened to be my son. He said that we “old people” have it all wrong. That being an entrepreneur is about creating a legacy, and a legacy isn’t about stuff like so many entrepreneurs discuss it, it is about knowledge.

And that is how my journey of creating this book began What I wanted to do was to help other entrepreneurs, business owners, and influencers, it was knowledge. And, with it came the Art of Connection 365 Days of quotes, thoughts, and questions. An anthology book that would provide the love, the sweat, the tears of hope, inspiration, and support to other professionals who were looking for the same answers to the question my son supposed.
