Coming Home

Coming Home was Written for You

This collection of poems and paintings tells a story that will move you from laughing out loud to nodding in somber agreement and shaking your head in awe. It’s all here: the oneness of spirit and nature, the importance of family, the costs of ambition, the mysteries of life, and the power of prayer.

Coming Home is an adventure that will resonate with men and women, young and old, as they reflect upon the importance of their own personal journeys.

Jack Dell is not your typical author; he’s an American entrepreneur and a lifelong adventurer. This book of poems and paintings has been fifty years in the making. Ever since he was a child growing up in Rockland County, New York, Jack has been trying to live his life to the fullest, continually learning from others and drawing upon the wisdom of some of the world’s greatest thinkers and writers, including Teilhard de Chardin, Napoleon Hill, Arthur Schopenhauer, Aristotle, Carlos Castaneda, and a host of others.

He has spent hundreds of days out on the ocean and in the forests of northern New Mexico, the rolling hills of Missouri, and Maryland’s Eastern Shore. The beauty and wonder of being out on the water and off in the woods alone continually rejuvenated his spirit as he contemplated the universal human journey and navigated the battlefields of life.
